The Esportazione is the Rolls Royce of watercolor papers for the artist who deserves the best at any price. Handmade using the exacting methods and materials of the 13th Century papertmakers, this is the paper used by Michelangelo and Da Vinci. Four master papermakers are required to make each individual sheet. It has a luxurious rough surface of 100% cotton fiber, tub sized, and acid-free/neutral pH with four natural deckled edges and an requisite watermark which runs parallel to the long side of the sheet. This deluxe paper is ideal for watercolor and other wet media including tempura, gouache, as well as charcoal, pastel and all drawing techniques.
