Mouldmade of 100% cotton, Arches Cover is one of the world's most popular fine art printing papers. It features a lightly textured, cold pressed surface and a registered watermark. The paper's internal sizing and minimal surface sizing allow it to be dampened (instead of having to be soaked overnight) in preparation for printing. Please take note however that the soaking stage is subjective and obviously follows the specific needs of the artist.
Its ability to print wet, damp or dry and it's subtle texture make it a versatile sheet for all printmaking techniques. The paper has proven to be very dimensionally stable and will take repeated passes through a hand or automated lithography or etching press without showing any cracking near the plate edges. All sheets have two natural and two tear deckle edges.
Excellent for: Lithography, Intaglio, Silkscreen, Collotype and Drawing (particularly pastel). This extraordinary surface also resists tearing and buckling and it remains. Lightly sized, 2 natural deckles, 2 tear deckles. Available in white, cream and black. CP surface. Also available in rolls.

-Evolon can be used like canvas. Doesn't need to be primed since linseed oil won't hurt it. There are no layers to worry about. Foolproof for stretching and never sags.
-Evolon can be misted with a spray bottle to emulsify a dry medium. Then you can even draw on it.
-Evolon dries flat. Does not stretch and maintains perfect registration.
-Evolon dampens instantly but with some inks prints well when dry. A clay monoprinting favorite.
-It loves ink no matter what plate you serve it on. Intaglio, litho, letterpress, monoprint.
-It can blot up to 5 times its weight in water.
-Always dries back rapidly and absolutely flat. However if you wring it when wet or launder it it will turn into a soft fabric that can be sewn
Fabriano Rosaspina paper is a hidden jewel among printmaking papers. It performs as well as 100% rag papers and is excellent for all printmaking techniques. Composed of 60% cotton content and its lack of an external sizing agent give it a sumptuously soft surface ideal for deep etching and aquatint. It makes for an equally luxurious, upscale drawing paper. This paper is mould-made with two natural deckled edges. Acid-free, chlorine free, mould made in Italy, vellum surface. Ideal for silk screen, etching, letterpress, pastel and charcoal.
